IMPORTANT CHANGE TO AUDIT BOOKINGS

As of the 1st January 2022, we have made some changes to the Technical Audit booking process, which will add the benefit of allowing you to book your annual audit without losing anytime from the original 1 year Audit validity period. If the Technical Audit is conducted within 30 days prior to the audit due date, the original due date + 1 year is preserved. If however, the Audit is completed over 30 days of the audit due date, then the due date + 1 year will be set from the actual completed audit date.

Therefore to clarify:-

  • If an Audit is conducted within 30 calendar days prior to the Audit due date, the original Audit due date is maintained for the next year.
  • EXAMPLE. The last Audit due date is 10/01/2022, and that Audit was conducted on 12/12/2021, the Audit renewal date will be 10/01/2023.
  • If an audit is conducted MORE than 30 calendar days of the audit due date, the renewal date will be based on last audit date
  • EXAMPLE. The last Audit due date is 10/01/2022, and that audit was conducted on 09/12/2021, the Audit renewal date will be 08/12/2022.
Please note that if a follow-up audit is required as part of an agreed Corrective Action Plan closure, as previous practice, this will be 90 days from your last audit date.
